how to set port to serve web pages in turnkey apache tomcat

Forum:

I am trying to figure out how to access my web pages in /var/www via a URL.  When I browse to my vm,  I get the page that showes "web apps", "virtual hosts", "web shell", and "webmin".  I have tried to change the port from 80 to something else (in ports.conf) but that only changes the port for the aforementioned web page.

I'm sure this is very simple, but I am at a loss and very tired :-(

thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

Everything Disappeared

Forum:
I have a TurnKey Linux installation (Ubuntu 8.04) with a multisite Drupal instance running on it. I rebooted the server today, and when it came back up, everything that had been put on there since July 2010 had disappeared. Since the server is for test sites, it had never been added to our company's backup schedule, so we have no backups on other servers. Is there any chance that the server would have backed up the files somewhere or is there a way to revert it to the state it was in yesterday?

Hi all

I would like to test zimbra. I have installed it by default with any special configuration.

In the admin mode there is mail.example.com as server example.com as domain

there is 4 users admin@example.com, wiki@example.com, and 2 other.

I start the user interface with admin@example.com and send an email to  wiki@example.com.

Keeps getting IOError: [Errno 32] Broken pipe when try to restore from backup in TKHUB

Forum:
hi, there for some reasons, I keep getting error below when I try to restore a backup to a new vm instance. Tried restore a full and incremental copy but still the same. The only special part about this restore is I was trying to restore a backup from a S3 vm to a EBS vm (so I can use reverse instance).

Installing sudo package on the LAMP server

Forum:
Tags:

Hi there --

I have completed the installation of the LAMP server, and one package that I am hoping to install is the sudo software. I want to be able to have a non-root user be able to run commands. When I entered the command apt-get install sudo, the package could not be found by the system. I have confirmed the system has the ability to access the Internet.

Do I need to modify the available repositories, and if so, what are the file(s) in question, and what is the correct syntax needed here?

Thanks.
