I tried using one of the Turkney ISO images with WordPress to install as a virtual machine, it installs fine and I can access the WordPress website but if I shut the VM down and restart, it asks me to install again. Why does it not install it properly?
I am using a cloud management software to provision the VM called CloudStack.
Hey any one ever done this one? Using TKL Fileserver using cron job rsync command to back up files and folders from /srv/storage directories and from user home directories to NTFS USB drive. Got it to work and the files are there when the drive is hooked up to the fileserver. Disconnect drive from fileserver and connect it to Windows 7 machine files are not there??? Connect it back to fileserver and the files and folders are there. I miffed. I've been at this for hours. I have a need to do this for a client and he must have the USB drive NTFS and readable by Windows box.
I have a joomal turnkey appliance installed on a vps server. I updated it using apt-get update to the version with Joomla 1.5.15. How can i update it to the latest version with joomla 1.5.22. Because i want a joomla site migrated and its currently runing Joomla 1.5.22
1) I have a trac appliance. The only Ubuntu user is "root" and I would like to read the mail. With the Webmin theme that TKL uses, I don't see the icon to "read user mail" either on the Postfix module page, or on the root user's page.
On the default Webmin theme, there is an icon in both locations for reading user mail.
2) If this is not available, how can I read user mail from a SSH session without installing anything? I tried "pine" and "mail" and neither are installed.
I install PostgreSQL on TKL Tomcat Apache. i want to enable phpPgAdmin on this machine. i also installed phppgadmin and i'd like to work this like LAPP wherein phpPgAdmin can be access thru https://IP:12322.
I downloaded and installed Turnkey 11.1/Joomla 1.5 and it works great. One thing I noticed it that it is the 32-bit version of the operating system. I did not see a 64-bit download when I did the initial download, and I wanted to know if this or Turnkey 11.1/Joomla 1.6 is available in a 64-bit distribution.
I downloaded and installed VMware Player and the Turnkey LAPP iso, and have "host-only" networking set in VMware. This is all on Windows XP. In XP, I can ping the IP address set for the VMnet1 adapter, but in the web browser on the same XP box, http://<ip-addr> (again using the IP address for VMnet1) does nothing. Could someone assist me a little? Thanks!
