Tracks 2.0 appliance?

Forum:
Tags:

Hello,

I wonder if anyone familiar with Ruby on rails and Tracks would be able to create a Tracks 2.0 version of the Tracks appliance? It is in RC mode right now, and it would be nice to put one up and check out functionality.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with the Ruby on rails way of working, so I really cant put a server up. But if anyone could help me with the appliance I can put up a public server for anyone else than me interested in trying 2.0 out.

Thanks in advance to anyone who could help me.

/Kristian

Samba Shares - File Permissions

Forum:

Hi Everyone,

I'm positive this has been answered a million times, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've searched this forum and plenty of others, I just can't get this sorted and I need help!

Have a small network with TKL Fileserver.  5 clients access the samba shares.  I want 3 of them to have read only access, and the other 2 to have read write access.

I have set up the 5 linux accounts.  I've given them the same name and password that they use in Windows.  Converted the Unix accounts to Samba accounts.  Set up user and group synchronisation too.

Turnkey and Joomla Questions

Forum:

Hi there --

I am planning on building a Joomla 1.6 CMS site, and I came across TurnKey Joomla 1.6 - Release 11.1, and I had several questions concerning it.

1. Is the Joomla CMS that is installed a full or abridged version of the software?

2. Is the version of Joomla that is installed capable of having any one of the extensions that are available installed on it?

TKLBAM Restore and New Backup Protocol,, what is it?

Forum:

Just did a successful "restore" to a New VM yesterday.  Then last night I went to do a "backup" and I realize that it took the better part of the night to complete.

In an event like this, does TKLBAM need to be "removed" then "reinitialized" so that it doesn't get confused with other backup images from the machine image it was restored from?

Seems it could be a tripping point.

Help is appreciated.

L. Arnold
