Cronjob - Not working / Strange behavior

First, please excuse my english. It's been some years since I "used" it. I'm a complete noob if things tangents linux. Let my describe the problem situation: I use a redmine appliance (V11) within our company. In this appliance I integrated an so called "whining" addon which should send an email, if tickets are pending for quite some time. In the prior redmine appliance (V10) this worked without problems. Now it seems like cron never starts the job - no matter what periods of time I set. I also changed the user from www-data to root - but this also didn't brought a solution.

How to configure mldonkey to save downloaded files to a samba share at another server?

I tried to reconfigure the torrent appliance, by redirecting the /srv/storage to another smb share at another server. I added the new line in fstab. This share is writable by any user for the ipaddress of the torrent server. Afther this MLDonkey did not start; the site at port 12322 was not available. I reinstalled and tried to change it by changing the symbolic links in /var/lib/mldonkey. This gives the same result. Does anybody know how to configure this appliance to save the downloaded files to the samba fileserver?

Error trying to add Amazon EC2 account from hub

Hi Guys.

Have decided to try the cloud server feature from Turnkey Hub. I have an Amazon EC2 account. Logged in , found the access keys section, copied and pasted them to the hub page, and clicked the ADD button, and all I get is an exclamation mark icon at the top of the page which provides no information.

Generated a new access key and secret key, tried the same with these and still only the exclamation mark icon ????

Lamp php throws HTTP ERROR 500

I recently updated my development Turnkey Lamp to continue my development. But now whenever there is an error in my php script instead of going through my error handlers helping me to debug it just throws a HTTP Error 500(Internal Server Error). It does this for anything, if I forget to put a ";" it will throw it out. What is the setting I need to alter? Thank you.

Hi,

I have just launched a new server in the hub that seems stuck "installing security updates (>4 hours). Rebooting or terminating and re-starting the server does not seems to help. 

What to do?

Hi,

I restored the backup from TKL HUB to another TKL that is hosted by XLS hosting. After restarting TKL an error appears (see attached file). then i decided to rollback. but the error still there.

I tried tklbam-restore from shell command but the got the same error.

Here's my 2 TKL versions:

Backup of TKL version: Webmin 1.520 on lamp_stack (Ubuntu Linux 10.04.1)

Restored to TKL version: Webmin 1.490 on lamp_stack (Ubuntu Linux 8.04.3)

how can we resolve this error?

Can't update Turnkey Core 11.1

I just downloaded turnkey-core-11.1-lucid-x86-ovf.zip to use in VirtualBox and updating it fails while upgrading from udev_151-12.2 to udev_151-12.3  Please advise.

I'm wondering how to build the TrunKey Core .iso image. I've been unable to find anything in the TurnKey code repository or web site with regards to this. Info for building the other CD images would be great too.

I realize that tlkpatch exists for the purpose of customizing existing images but I'd prefer to create my own.

we will most defiantly keep the Credit in the footer as well as giving credit in our release to teachers/students if we get our wordpress bbb solution working, but I can't get them to bite unless i can remove "Turnkey Linux" from the top of the page. It appears on every theme we choose. Any way to remove that or at least shrink it?
