I have just downloaded a LAPP turnket appliance and before I ask my question wanted to say how much I am impressed with the whole setup.

I want to use this appliance to do some web developement, so I wanted to create a new virtual site

I download the file and tried to unzip but I cant find the install.

I downloaded the Version Control vm to be able to use a git repo. I can access the repo and clone it. But when making changes locally, I cannot push them back to the original source.

It gives a Fatal error telling the server has hung up.

When using svn, sort of the same thing happens, exept it tells me it's in authentication issue. What is the way to proceed? I checked if I could find any extra instructions and I searched this list, but could not find anything.

Hi all, I would like to know if I can get help in this community for the project will add virtualization, which is an educational resource bank of Spain, which is open source. We could talk about compensation. This is a university project, I can pay up to 200 USD per paypall or by transfer from Colombia would first have to confirm their whole operation to its various services (Apache, jboss, glassfish, mysql, ffmpeg, xwindows).

I am interested in looking at the details of a few patches, but not getting bogged down with the packages they may contain.  Can scripts be easily read inside the patches?  I am working in Windows as my workstation envirionment.

From this I want to see if I can go through the process of individually applying some of the patch sequences so that I can better understand the whole Linux/TKL process.

I'm trying to apply the TKLPatch for OpenLDAP, but I keep running into errors and I wanted to see if I'm doing anything obviously wrong with the installation and configuration instructions in case I'm missing something obvious.

I am installing Wordpress in Virtual Box on Ubuntu. It goes through the intall and gets to the "Wordpress appliance services" menu. I cannot do anything from here except, go to the Advanced Menu. I have tried installing 2 times now and end up at the same place. In the Advance Menu, I have tried restarting many times and keep ending up at the same menu. Any suggestions?
