I've been using and loving Turnkey Joomla for some time. I, however, am having the darndest time trying to figure out how to add (and edit and delete for that matter) the directory of the virtual disk created during the VirtualBox installation. Could someone shed some light for me? Thanks in advance.
I'm completely exhausted from searching for the answer. I fear it's so obvious and simple that the answer is simply not published. haha.)
I searched the forum for related issues, but nothing seemed to match exactly what I'm experiencing. That said, I seem to have locked myself out of the default Admin account for the Wiki on our recently set up Deki Appliance. Attempting to login as Admin returns an "you input an invalid password" error.
I've been logging in and out of the server all day with no issue, and I know the password I am using is correct, but still no dice, and the reset password email never arrives when sent so I am unable to reset the password this way.
I am new to joomla, so i decided to work with turnkey for my first site.
I have created something and i could like to have a second opinion about it from some friends. so i decided to set up a webserver, since half the job is already done for me.
Having Apache on Turnkey, doesnt that make it a webserver? I cant make it to work no mater what! I forward port 80 from the router to the local ip address of turnkey, but when ever i type my global ip i always end up connecting to the router.

I have just downloaded and installed a TurnKey LAMP server on to VMWare Server a Windows Home Server box on my home network. I have done this so that I can run a test bed version of a public joomla website that I own in order to test new functionality. Unfortunately, when I installed the site from a backup I received an Internal Server Error. I describe below the steps that I took:
I'm testing out the new TKLBAM backup system (which is a great idea btw.) I set up a core appliance yesterday and successfully made my first backup that showed up at the hub.turnkeylinux.org site. After my second backup (26Gb), which completed without errors, there are now no backups listed at all at hub.turnkeylinux.org. Is there something obvious I should check or that I might be doing wrong?
Below is the tail of my second back up log together with the output of tklbam-list:
I've been experimenting a bit with the Turnkey appliances in recent weeks, and I've found them to be a great option to quickly and easily set up a VPS for a dedicated task. I'm currently in the initial prototyping stages of a website I want to code using Ruby on Rails, which will eventually be deployed on a VPS running the Turnkey Rails appliance.
Since I haven't started coding yet, and since Rails 3 has now been officially released, I'll be using Rails 3 for the site. However, I've been having some major problems getting Rails 3 installed on the Rails appliance.
