tklbam - sslerror: The read operation timed out

Forum:

I am trying to migrate my data from one Turnkey Linux virtural machine to another, much like the demonstration video.  I made a backup of both my Turnkey Linux virtual machines, the backup feature works fine, the initial backup for the primary machine is 2GB in size.  When I try to restore this backup on the new virtual machine (backing up on the new virtual machine via tklbam works fine) I get the following errors.

Can't run initial tklbam-backup

Forum:

I'm new to the Turnkey Linux scene, but I love the idea of the tklbam-backup service.

But I can't get my initial backup to run on either of two new appliances.

I've been able to install the tklbam package, register with the Amazon S3 service, and initialize the tklbam service with my Hub account link.

But when I run tklbam-backup, it throws the following error (identical on both appliances that I'm testing):

Hosting standalone HTML in Turnkey Wordpress Environment

Forum:

I have a Turnkey Wordpress environment (that I upgraded to 3.0.1) and I'm wanting to host standalone HTML files inside it.  So for example, when users go to http://mysite.com, they'll get Wordpress, but when they go to http://mysite.com/content/test.html the HTML can be displayed.

Currently when I try to do this, I keep getting a "It Works!" HTML page (not what I want).

Any help is appreciated.

newbie - can't access rails app

Forum:
Hi. I'm relatively new to Ruby (but I have read three books on it) and rails. I just installed the Turnkey Rails VM. Everything is working well. I followed the instructions on the RubyOnRails website to create my first rails app (rails myapp, etc) and all of the files seem to have been installed.

NOOB on Redmine/svn/hg/git appliance

Forum:

hi, i am a total noob in using such appliances, a bit of linux understanding, but strong win-developer background (no SVN etc), honestly I am lost without windows ;(.

I downloaded, installed and have the Redmine/SCM appliance running. ok.

I created a personal account on the machine for me using the webmin interface. ok.

Redmine is running and I can logon with my account, I created projects there, but I cannot assign a svm or hg repository, there is always a red asteric in front.

Mediawiki - Using image uploaded via the wiki as the logo

Forum:

So I uploaded an image through the file upload on the mediawiki and I would like to use that file as the logo.  I understand that I need to set the path for the logo in the localsettings.php file but the problem is I can't figure out where the image is uploaded to.  Anyone know where the MediaWiki VM defaults the uploaded files to?

Thanks.
