TurnKey 17.2 SuiteCRM 7.12 ESR

Forum:

I am not a dev, but I trying to create an update for personal interest by forking and modding:

https://github.com/turnkeylinux-apps/suitecrm

into:

https://github.com/UncleDan/suitecrm/tree/17.2-update

If everything goes well should I post somewhere for further testing or should I request pull on GitHub?

Vaultwarden Password Manger

Forum:

Hi Jeremy, trying to use deploy Vaultwarden using the turnkey Core image, the issue is that Vaultwarden recommends Ubuntu, anyways, i ll give it a try,

I will suggest to add Vaultwarden to the turnkey family, its a nice password manager and more importantly free.

thanks a lot

PHP 8 - when?

Forum:

PHP 7 versions are out of support. When is Turnkey Linux going to incorporate PHP 8 in the apps?

Neth Server 8 Debian

Forum:

Neth Server 8 beta has been released and this now runs on debian. Neth server was previously CentOS however the latest version which is a major rewrite is now available under Debian This would make a great addition to the turnkey appliance library.

Cheers

Paul

Post in this thread if you are awaiting account approval

Forum:

Hi,

Chances are if you're reading this, you have applied for a TurnKey website user account.

Considering that 95% of all signups are spammers and/or seo farmers, plus the hammering the site has got from spammers earlier in the year, blocking auto signups was probably overdue. However, it can be really hard to tell the difference between a potential spammer and a legitimate user. So I'm almost certain that I delete legitimate accounts when I cleanup the obvious spammer ones.

So this thread has 2 main purposes:

Installing ISPConfig on Turnkey/Core

Forum:
Tags:

I have mentioned in other posts that I was struggling to install ISPConfig (my preferred hosting control panel) on Turnkey.

Turns out it was actually quite easy. The first thing is you can't run it in a container as it fiddles with disk quotas and then when you do install Turnkey/Core in a VM, you need to allow packages from the non-free repository.

Full details: here (opens in new tab)

Please REMOVE Odoo from your database

Forum:

Odoo as a company is doing what it needs to survive, but Turnkey does not need to promote them.  They portray themselves as free then leave out the most essential elements of an ERP package, the accounting module.  This earns the moniker of adware in my view, and should be removed from software that should work without purchase or subscription of any kind.

I would be excellent if Turnkey could source another ERP package that did NOT leave any elements of it's package out like one of the following:
