Upgrade vTiger CRM from 5.2.1 to 5.3.0

Forum:

This worked for me to upgrade TurnKey Linux 11.3 / vTiger CRM from 5.2.1 to 5.3.0. Before doing the upgrade, it is highly recommended that a backup of the system be made using TKLBAM or the methods built into vtiger. Or make an image of the hard drive with CloneZilla or something similar so that it can be put back if something goes wrong.

Need some suggestions for deployment.

Forum:
I've been using TKL in a VM now for a little while and really like the fact that it is easy to setup and use. Linux is still very new to me. I've recently been assigned to setup a webserver for my company. The server will be used for many installations of Wordpress, some static sites, and maybe a few other things (shared hosting). I was thinking of using the TKL LAMP stack as a bare metal install on an older server we have sitting around. It's an HP dual processor, a gig of RAM (will be expanding this), and 2 146Gb SCSI drives.

TKLPatch for Drupal 7

Forum:

Drupal 7.0 was officially released on Jan 5, 2011, yet there is still no Ubuntu package available.  There is a Debian package available for Sid, but attempts to incorporate it into a TurnKey LAMP appliance proved problematic.  I can understand concerns about relying on upstream developers for support, but in this case the availabilty of Drupal 7's built-in updates and Drush's site-install, provide the ability to obtain updates directly from the source.

How to leverage confconsole?

This question is particularly for Liraz and/or Alon, but if anyone else knows (or can work it out for me) I'd be happy to hear. :)

Best setup for this project?

Forum:

Hi everyone, I'm very excited to try out turnkey hub on ec2 and I was wondering about  the best way to setup the following project. It's an existing project hosted on shared hosting account and I'd like to migrate it to use turnkey hub on ec2.

It has:

-a MySQL server to store user data

-stores uploaded images from users. Images need to be retrieved later on using a url to the specific image.

-a flash and php frontend using symfony 1.4

-git based source control

More than 10 gigs

Forum:
Hi, I'd simply like to launch a turnkey instance that has more than 10 gigs from start, I don't want to mess around afterwards. I have a joomla site that is over 20 gigs and want to migrate it, Cheers, Dom

Help with setup configuration

Forum:
I am a new immunology professor/scientist, and am in the process of setting up my first lab. I've used ubuntu as a desktop system for 5+ years, managed a small ubuntu-based cluster for the past 3 (which I did not setup, btw), and as such am fairly familiar with linux/ubuntu as a desktop environment.  I'm also semi-familier with netowrking and CIFS/SAMBA as well.
