OpenVista and Koha are two notoriously *WICKED* softwares to install. I am wondering if there is any plan to greate working ISOs of both of these as it will greatly simplify the installation process for those of us into installation. Guys pleeeeaaaassssseeee...... help here
I'm currently running the Joomla1.6 app "TurnKey Linux 11.2 / Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid LTS"
I would like to run more than one Joomla based site on this server. They would not be sharing the same database, or anything of that nature. Separate directories, separate databases, and the possibility of different Joomla versions on each site. (So, no upgrading all sites at once.)
I wanted to play with writing a patch, so I started playing with creating one for SABnzbd and a few addons. I've got the patch working but need to do a little more testing on it before releasing it into the wild. This testing should be done in the next day or two.
For those unaware, SABnzbd is an Open Source Binary Newsreader written in Python.
i have problems with mysql password on the turnkey linux images.
AMI: turnkey-wordpress-11.2-lucid-x86.ebs (ami-97b077fe)
here is the prompt.
mysql -u root -p
Enter password:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
i changed passwords on login, as suggested in the following document.

BTW. these are images 'spun' from the AWS console, not your console.
WebCalendar (aka k5nCal) is an open source calendar and organiser web app written in php. Similar to other web app TKLPatches I have published recently, it's actually quite easy to install yourself (on LAMP) but as I have been testing it for inhouse use at my work, I thought I'd create a TKLPatch and share the love! I think it would make a great addition to the TKL library.
