Update: This thread is now somewhat irrelevant as TurnKey have just announced Domain management and Dynamic DNS which can take care of all your dynamic DNS needs! Yay!
Abridged version of the story: I'm interested in a dynamic DNS service (DDNS) to replace DynDNS (willing to pay a little if the features are right).
Hello,
I have noticed it is not possible to launch any of the 64-bit instances with TKL.
Does anyone know when future support for these 64-bit instances will be added or is it possible to launch turnkey LAMP on them somehow still?
Thank you
I have worked on my first tkl patch -- an nginx webserver. It is not quite ready for release, there are a couple things I need some help with. (Please move this to the support forum if it is more appropriate.)
[9-04-2013] Note: this patch has been abandoned. It is not considered stable and will not be released as an official TKL appliance. See my post here for further details.
I am an elementary school computer teacher and tech coordinator. I have found that many elementary school computer labs run without a server of any kind.
I feel that file servers in particular are game changers for the student's lessons. Without a place to store student work, the lessons have to conform to a single session and must be printed or saved locally on the existing computer.
Thanks for such a valuable product. I really like the idea behind TKLBAM. It's persuading me to migrate our linux servers to TurnKeyLinux in the TKL Hub.
