We are finalizing the 11.0 release and I've been working my way through issues reported on the forum, bug tracker, my email archive and my own todo list.
Before we go into freeze, I'm asking anyone who hasn't reported an issue to do so, as well as those who did but never received a reply (sorry if we missed you). We'd like to solve as many issues as possible before we freeze so they get included.
A big shout out goes to everyone who has been reporting issues, and everyone who has been man'ing the forums, especially Jedmeister, Adrian Moya - you guys rock!
Hi, I found extrange that the turnkey-tomcat-11.0rc asked me a mysql password on firstboot. Then I went and ssh into it, and there is it, mysql server running.
I was checking the appliance page and it doesn't talk about mysql-server.
Which is wrong? the appliance description or the image?
I was hoping to use this one as a base to the Hudson tklpatch, but I think I'll go with core then.
I'm new to TLK, so maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but how come there is no VM to download on http://www.turnkeylinux.org/redmine ? In particular, I thought I should be able get an AMI for EC2 from TLK, no?
I've been all over the place today, so can't retrace my steps, but recall seeing some of the problems with converting the configuration console to upstart mentioned. I don't now if this issue has been solved yet, but stumbled upon this bit of info in the Lucid Lynx release notes that I thought might be relevant if it hasn't. I don't understand the basis of the problem enough to be of any real help, but every bit I can do while learning...
Would there be some interets into a Turnkey image containing Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, GreenHoper, Crucible, Clover, Fisheye, Bamboo).
That would be perfectly suited on top of an image like Revision control Appliance and by the way would be to my mind the best development suite, surely the most useful and loved addition in this area.
Patch is complete for Sahana-Agasti 0.6.4 for LAMP 11.0(RC). The credentials are below. Wrangling the zip file was more difficult than anticipated and the import of the database took a few tries before it was right. Thanks for the help ascheel at #ampache and thanks to Rik Goldman for the guidance. The patch and the ISO can also be found at http://www.9while9.com .
The OpenSIS community edition patch for TKL's LAMP stack 11.0(RC) Lucid is now attached below. Chelsea School student Jerel Moses really took lead on this one, with strong support from classmates Steven Robinson and Maurice Quarles.
Hi, all; I am absolutely new to TKL and blown away by this project's elegance!
I would like to know if it is possible to build a custom appliance utilizing TKLPatch and have that be your init point for TKLBAM backups. For example, if you start with the TKL LAMP appliance and use TKLPatch to bring in git, samba, etc, is it then possible to set up TKLBAM to use this new appliance as the initial reference point for updates rather than the 'original' LAMP appliance?
