I have downloaded and imported turnkey-revision-control-12.1-squeeze-amd64 with the hopes that I would be able to leverage some of the documentation around the internet on how to authenticate users with LDAP (Active Directory). I have built and burnt a half dozen servers at this point and figured I would come to this collection of Guru's to see if you can offer any assistance. I am trying to accomplish three key things with this server deployment (and if that is too much for one post I am happy to break them out individually).
Trying to delete a snapshot so I can unregister a destroyed server from Hub. Am getting an error saying "Snapshot snap-xxxxxxx is currently in use" and it won't let me delete the snapshot. Any thoughts on how to remedy or track why I need to keep this snapshot and destroyed server on my hub?
I have four reserved instances purchased and am running four continuous use instances. TKL shows as all of the instances being reserved instances. However, Amazon is charging me on demand pricing for one of the four instances. Gotta think it is a bug, but wanted to confirm others haven't seen the issue before.
Hi Team, i am a new user to Turnkey, well i have been hovering for some time. I have an Amazon account, i also have a test instance of my static website uploaded and working in s3, i also have EC2 installed (all easy even for me) but need to install an application not in the Turnkey or Ubuntu repositories, namely phpgedview, a web based Genealogy app. I cant find any help on this either in the Turnkey pages, phpgedview pages, or the Amazon help pages even though there are zillions! As an addition, i wish to import several MySql databases for said app.
I'm a new user to Turnkey Linux and I'm interested in starting 2 MediaWiki servers that are running the latest version of the MediaWiki software.
So far I have started a micro server using the free usage tier and selected the mediawiki applicance to be installed. This worked like a charm, no problems there. However, I realised the version installed (1.15) is incompatible with the extensions I need (such as Semantic Wiki, which requires at least 1.17).
I downloaded the ProcessMaker image to run on VMware. I found it was running ProcessMaker 2.0 and the latest version, 2.5.1, from source forge and started running though this guide from their Wiki. I got stuck at this command that I need to run.
So, I'm running the standard appliance version of Canvas, and there are many bugs. So, I see that there's a version of Canvas on the shiny new TKL git repo, and it was updated 4 days ago, so maybe that's what I need.
But I can't find anything to get me started. How do I proceed? I'm assuming I create a new server, and clone from the git repo, but I'm looking for a good end-to-end guide on how to do this.
