So something stranged happen to my turnkey LAPP install.
Nornally when I go to the install for example xxx.xxx.tklapp.com the control panel comes up giving me a choice to log into the web shell or webmin. But now when I do that I just get a blank index page.
Anyway to overcome this? i cant figure out why its doing that.
Is anyone using amd64 images (preferably 12.1) on EC2? Seems like Hub doesn't yet support this, which removes quite a lot of the value of TKL.
If so, are you managing your EC2 instances entirely through AWS control panels? And would this tutorial work for setting up the instances based on TKL 12.1?
I'm trying to change the hostname of a LAMP Turnkey instance and once it's rebooted, the hostname is '(none)' (and is detected by third-party clients as such).
So I have Webmin installed on ubuntu and thats on a AWS EC3 server. I want to host a domain on it and created a virtual site in webmin. On the DNS end I changed the A record of the domain to the servers ip address and I'm using my hosting company (hover) DNS.
I put up a test html page to see if things are working.
Now when I ping the domain it shows the ip address of my server but does not route.
I checked everything on the webmin side and the conf file and it looks ok but not sure why its not resolving.
Now Apache won't start and I get this error in the log:
[error] Server should be SSL-aware but has no certificate configured [Hint: SSLCertificateFile] ((null):0)
I'm working on a fix and I'll make sure to post back here when I find something. In the meantime if anyone has creative solutions in mind I'm all ears.
I'm getting ready to deploy a Turnkey Wordpress server to host a podcast. Are SSDs recognized and accomodated on install or will I have to enable trim, reduce swapiness, etc. after installation? If so, is there a script available?
Thanks in advance, I've been using Turnkey appliances for a long time now, they RULE. Keep up the good work.
TKL Wordpress VM Guest - Easiest fastest way to share Specific Folders with Windows 7 Host?
Guest > Host Sharing: Specific Folder from Linux Guest accessing to Windows 7 Host?
I have Turnkey & Bitnami Linux Guest VMs on a Windows 7 Host with VMWare.
I make minor changes now and then to certain files in certain GUEST folders. Is there any way to share these folders with the Windows Host machine as a shared folder or drive?
What would be the easiest/ fastest way to do this?
Hello - I would like to snag a backup of our database. We are using OrangeHRM, via Turnkey on AWS. I can't seem to get the password to login to phpmyadmin. Is there a default? I do not rememeber setting one up when I installed through aws marketplace. Any help would be wonderful.
