File Server ajaxplorer - cannot create files or folders

Forum:

I've been beating my head against a wall for the past two days- maybe someone can offer some clarity.

Downloaded the file server OVF template, deployed to VMWare ESXi server, turned on, established passwords, etc.  Accessed the ajaxexplorer via my browser (by navigating to the IP of the machine), logged in as admin, setup a user, made sure they had R/W access to the "test_diret" repository, logged in as that user and I cannot create folder or upload files.

Here's the error log info:

Installing Testopia on Turnkey Bugzilla

Forum:

I am trying to install Testopia on Turnkey Bugzilla. According to the Testopia docs, I simply have to untar the Testopia download in the Bugzilla root. I have tried this in /usr/share/bugzilla3, but it doesn't seem to work. What is the Bugzilla root directory in Turnkey Bugzilla?

Also, the instructions say to run checksetup.pl after untarring the files. The only checksetup.pl I can find is in  /usr/share/bugzilla3/lib. Am I supposed to copy this file into the Bugzilla root directory in order to run it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

VSFTD Install On Lamp Stack wont allow ftp connection

Forum:

I have installed VSFTP on a Lamp Stack instance, the ftp server is up and running, configured but the server will not allow ftp connections through port 21. I have attempted to open port 21 through iptables and using the firewall configuration through webmin but I continue to not be able to connect. I have installed VSFTP on numerous servers in the past without issue, but this is the first time i've attempted it with a Turnkey server instance. Is there something obvious that I am missing here?

Note: I am attempting to use standard FTP here, not SFTP

Config console - eth0 config

Forum:

Hi,

It doesn't seem to make any difference if I choose DHCP or Static nothing seems to get saved as the startup always sticks here.

Even when I select one or other it just goes round in a loop.

Any advice please (other than Google is your friend)?

Thanks,

John

Adding features to turnkey fileserver

Forum:

Hi All,

I'm planning to use turnkey fileservers in our MS Domain.  Can I easily customize each server to accomplish the following:

  • use one namespace
  • to be a distributed file system and replication

If so, can you provide any documentation or helpful links?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Joomla 2.5 and AWSMarketPlace

Forum:

Hi All

We are new to TurnKey and AWS.

Please excuse us for naive questions as we try to learn fast from y'all experts.

We bought a realty component package that uses Joomla 2.5 on their environment.

We like to migrate the software component to run on AWS for our simple configuration/development work.

We are not hardcore developers.

We came upon Turnkey when we signed up with AWS.

Could folks share the steps on how to set all this up to run on AWS environment so we could continue our configuration ?

How to get my webmin password ?

Forum:

Hi,

I register for a Wordpress install, but, now, I'm trying to connect to webmin, and it seems the password I thought is wrong.

Where do I get the password to connect to webmin ? I don't remember what it is, as I'm not an IT expert

Thx

Nino
