Inbound proxy server?

Forum:

Apologize if this is the wrong question. I just discovered Turnkey Linux and am installing a bugzilla appliance right now for a project I am working on. The host is Opensolaris build 128a. So far I have provisioned a virtual machine in VirtualBox, provisioned a vnic and put the MAC into the DHCP table of the router. I expect to have a service definition soon and to run this headless. I already have dyndns configured at the router and soon will point port 80 traffic to this appliance.

LAPP Stack Red hat based instead of ubuntu?

Forum:

As we were using the LAPP applicance before our company got bought, we now need to change this application to the new restrictions.

I have been asked if instead of ubuntu, Red Hat Linux Enterprise can be used as base.
Can someone help me out here?

Rails and Passenger

Forum:

I have a server running the turnkey rails application. I'm trying to make adjustments to my apache.conf file to force Passenger to have 3 instances for one of my Rails applications.

If I add PassengerMinInstances to my apache.conf or the virtual host .conf file.

Whenever I do this I get an incorrect syntax error and apache won't start. After looking into this problem a number of people have suggested its the way Passenger is installed and there should be some code in apache.conf relating to the Passenger installation.

Newbie Help

Forum:

Hi, I should start off by saying that I am not strong with my knowledge of servers/backups and managing them. I have learnt what I need due to necessity.

I have just come across Turnkey and wanted to ask a few questions.

As I understand it Turnkey is an application which uses Amazon AWS. I am assuming that anything built on Turnkey can only be accessed through Turnkey or can you also access it through the AWS panel? With that in mind the current charges for Turnkey are just the charges that Amazon bills for the usage of their services.

How to Change System Date in a TKL Appliance and/or VMWare

Forum:

I tried doing this in VMWare but seems the appliance went out and got its Time somewhere else.

Just trying to clean some files up and give the clean up a 12/31/11 entry date.

Anyone know where to do this..  Webmin?  WebShell?  Somewhere else?

Bugzilla Appliance sends broken links

Forum:

Our Bugzilla Appliance (just downloaded and installed on ESXi 5) sends broken links:

/show_bug.cgi?id=2

Actually for a user being able to click that link, it must be:

http://bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2

(bugzilla is a CNAME we added to DNS for this machine, as the applicance itself seems to have no name)

How to fix that?

Thanks!

-Markus

Bugzilla Appliance sends Belorussian emails instead of English

Forum:

Just downloaded and set up Bugzilla Turnkey Appliance running on ESXi5 server.

Noticed that all sent bug mails are in a mixture of Belorussian and English, instead of just English (or just German).

Actually we are neither in Belarus, nor is anybody here able to understand Belorussian, so the question is: HOW TO FIX THAT?

Thanks a lot!

SVN Authentication with AD Users via Likewise-Open?

Forum:
I've setup a Turnkey RCS server, and installed LikeWise-Open to allow Active Directory users to authenticate to the machine. I've created an AD user group to contain the users which will have write access to the SVN repositories, and I've changed the permissions of the repositories folders so that the group has rwx permissions. Group members can checkout the code, but are unable to checkin: svn: E170001: Authorization failed Any ideas would be appreciated :)
