I would like to have 1 box running as my fileserver AND my revision server. What is the easiest way to install the revision control appliances to fileserver or vice versa?
I tried booting Jeos 11.1 in an empy VMware machine (Workstation) and it got hung. The hardware includes a core i7 and 8GB ram. The VM was configured for 512MB of ram. I have a screenshot of where it hung (attached). I can't host it anywhere right now.
I'm workng on a patch, presented here. I'd lile to limit who has access to the application via Apache2. The app resides at /var/www/virtualbox.
I feel like I've done my due diligence, so might try my luck here. Although it's directly related to TKL, it is relevant to a TKLPatch, so I'm hoping I'm not pushing my luck too much.
I managed to fix this, so I don't need a resolution, but it is something that seems to have been out-of-whack on a fresh Turnkey install, so I thought I should report it.
I downloaded the vmdk version of the Drupal6 appliance. I extracted the vmdk from the zip file, created an Ubuntu machine in VirtualBox, and pointed it at the vmdk. It booted up just fine and I was able to surf to the initial setup page where it asks you for admin account details, admin email, etc.
Running TKL based on Ubuntu server 8.04. If I want to update the MYSQL to a higher version (web appliance requirement) that isn't in the repo's, how do I that?
Very nice community here. I really like the Turnkey concept and just discovered it in the last few days.
I've tried downloading, both the zip and ISO of the OVF from multiple download location in case it was a corrupt download, but basically my VM hangs on boot.
I've tried to change a number of settings such as PAE, Acceleration, chipset, just to see if it helps but to no avail. My host is running Windows 7 Home premium. and i'm using VirtualBox.
