How do I determine my external IP address from the command line? I am using the Vtiger appliance and have had no difficulty logging in and using the program as well as Webmin remotely from inside my network. I just have no idea how to determine my external IP without a graphical web browser. Dropping down to the command prompt on the server or the terminal with Webmin is no problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to patch up the Redmine deployed on my turnkey server, and obviously I'll use Git to manage my patch deployment. It seems Redmine as deployed in /var/www/railsapp has some settings and changes specific to Turnkey. Is there a git tree of Turnkey's modified Redmine I could base off for managing my deployment?

I don't know if this is a problem in Likewise Open or TKL, but this is how I've fixed it.

Guys, I just installed turnkey drupal and I can't load any themes. I'm using filezilla to SFTP into the files but I don't see a themes folder. The readme.txt file said to put the theme in the sites/all/themes folder. But I don't have one. Also the only way I can SFTP in is with root. Did I do something wrong? Please help Thanks

I have installed Turnkey Torrent Server on a headless PC.  When I connect to the LAN, I can access <http://192.168.x.x where I can see the menu and can log in sucessfully to Webmin from the menu or directly on <https://192.168.x.x/12321 and similarly on to Web Shell on <https://192.168.x.x/12320 and to File Manager <https://192.168.x.x/extplorer.

My problem is that I cannot connect to ports 12322 and 12323 for MLDonkey and Web-GMUI. The server just appears to not be listening on these ports. 

I built turnkey lamp and then added cacti via the tklpatch method. However, I am a little unclear on how to proceed to get cacti up and running or for that matter any patched-in application. Do I now have to install cacti using apt-get and follow the installation guide on cacti's web site? Does the tklpatch method just ensure that the turnkey appliance updates add in security updates for any patched-in application?

Hello: I deployed the Core 11.1 VM (from OVF) on my ESXi4.1 system. After recovering from the troubles with updating (udev) during and after install, I tried to install a few things (postfix) and got this.. not sure if I'd call it an error, but I find it troubling:

Then again:

Trying to use tklbam with LAPP 11.1 - with the mahara patch applied.

tklmbam-init went fine, smooth as silk.

However, tklbam-backup provokes this response (I of course authenticate with the proxy first):

Is there anyway to start a Micro instance of the TKL core in EC2 cloud. The only options I see are small and medium even when I do it through the Amazon control panel. Is this something someone at turnkey has to enable for that image or am I missing something?
