Hello , I have a probem to try to restore a backup of one of my servers , backup is successful in amazon , but try to restore to another server , I found this problem.
Hi. I’m struggling with a recently discovered peculiarity of tklbam. It appears that I cannot restore a backup generated in AmazonWS ‘availability zone’ s3-eu-west-1, corresponding to Region: Virginia, on a server originally backed up in AmazonWS availability zone s3, corresponding to Region: Ireland.
If I do traceroute to s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com it gets through consistently (I’m in the UK), whereas if I traceroute s3.amazonaws.com the packets seem to just get dropped in the ether.
Hi I have signed up for the paid plans for cloud deployment and backup and it says it comes with support by email . . . but I cannot find the support email address to which I can email my support issues.
I sucessfully got my Turnkey Linux LAMP stack up and running with the latest updates/upgrades. Managed to install VMware Tools and the latest Webmin 1.760.
I also have achieved to get the VMware Shared Folders working. They are mounted at boot time under /mnt.
I am strugling with some probably stupid thing that I can't figure out.
I have a "c:\www" folder on my HOST box shared and mapped on my guest under /mnt/www
Trying to use the AWS CLI tools to manage my ec2 instances, specifically to shutdown and launch. Tried to launch and the error keeps coming back stating that the ami doesn't exist....it's what I got from the image name.
Please help, need to resolve this asap.
Here is the name of the fill AMI-ID: turnkey-lamp-13.0-wheezy-amd64.ebs_4 (ami-f5d0b582)
Here is the command I tried: ec2-run-instances ami-f5d0b582 -t m3.medium -k my-security-group
Hi - It looks like there is an error of some sort since the TKLH interface has been displaying the message "Installing security updates" since I started a MySQL Micro server on yesterday eve (9/1). I searched the forum and tried the suggested reboot and stop and start.
I appreciate any guidance, however I want to admit upfront that Linux, Turnkey, MySQL and the open source world are all new for me, so it may be a long time before I can make effcient use of any complex/technical suggestions offered.
I installed bugzilla 4.4 on my amazon EC2 instance.
All works fine but sending mail, thus if bugzilla have to send mail to my account on gmail, ok, no problem, while if changing recipient (an account of mine on another server) bugzilla can't send the mail.
This is the error:
