I launched an ownCloud instance on AWS using the TKL DDNS service. Most everything worked fine. I can access it from a browser, can add apps, add users and do all that needs to be done. In addition, the desktop sync client (Windows 7) works just fine. I then tried the iOS app. The user "admin" is able to connect via the app without issue. However, any other user I try, is not able. I get the error "unable to connect at this time" or whatever. I cannot figure out why one user can successfully connect while the other cannot. Any ideas or suggestions?
I use turnkey fileserver for about 2 weekes (tried before Freenas that is really complicated :() for ~20 users, all with windows 7 x64
I didn't succed to use separate turnkey users for each of them in order to map a network drive (incorect password every time, on every user :() so I uses root user to map a drive on every computer.

I've been pulling my hair out about this issue for a few weeks.
We have an older instalation of turnkey-redmine that has been doing backups daily to the amazon site.
We had a huge drive failure and have been trying to restore the data. However, during the restore, the following error presents itself and I can't get through it. What did work, was doing a -skip filesystem, which gave us back the database.

I might be doing something wrong so maybe there are nice ways around these suggestions. But it would be nice if:

One could script entering a passphrase. Currently you have to enter tklbam-passphrase "by-hand" on each machine which is brought up. It would be nice to be able to call eg:
I am using tklbam on a ubuntu 12.0.4 installed on a digital ocean droplet for backing things up. I am probably missing something obvious, but how do I change the label so that the backup has a label of my choosing when I look at it in the TurnKeyHub. Ie I want to do something like:
tklbam-backup <opts> <option to make the label=dokuwiki167>
And then go to the turnkey hub and see the label dokuwiki167 on the fresh backup...

I have installed Ubuntu 12.04LTS and Samba4 v4.2 with great success, I now have a working AD domain controller. However I just need to understand the reasoning and possible implications of why the installation directory seems to have moved from previous versions.
From virtually every tutorial relatingto samba4 the smb.conf file resides at /etc/samba/. However on my installation it resides at /usr/local/samba/etc/
Instance works fine using IP and EC2 address. I can access it from there without issue.
I issued a reboot using hub server CP, and suddenly..Address showing tklapp.com message about a wonderful dynamic IP address service rather than my server.
Is it possible to make a version of the LAMP stack AMI to be deployed on m3.large instances? It'll only let me select m3.medium and m3.xlarge instances.
