Hi,i'm a newbe of linux world and i'd like to try New TurnKey LAMP Stack version (11.2) for a little php application that has to read a table in a Microsoft SQL server. I search in forums but i have found no solution, yet.
I successfully created a new VM on ESX Server 3.5 and attached the LAMP appliance to the VM. When I then start the VM, I get the Turnkey splash screen to install or run the live version. However, when I choose install to HDD, the CLI install commands flash by and then the "Debian Installer Live" GUI pops up with only two choices, "Undo changes to partition" and "finish partitioning and write changes to disk". If I choose the latter, then I get another GUI saying that there is no root partition and that I have to fix this issue from the "partitioning menu".
I have configured Zabbix to run on Turnkey Ubuntu 10.04 and everything was fine util I updated an apache software update. I lost my Zabbix web interface. I was able to get the interface back but now the Web Shell port is not working, e.g. I get an unable to connect. I checked the etc/apache2/ports.conf file and the line "listen 12320" is there. Also the PHPMyAdmin link opens up the /etc/phpmyadmin folder instead of the web interface.
Is there any other configuration that I can check.
I'm trying to get OpenGTS running on the Tomcat on Apache appliance. I have got Openg GTS 2.3.7 compiled to produce the required .war files, but can't seem to get track.war working in tomcat.
I have a fileserver appliance with HTS TVHeadend built into it as a streaming tv server. XBMC clients are the frontends.
I got a new dual tuner card the other day. It is a PCI card, but the trouble is that it is 2 USB tuners connected via the PCI bus. The autosuspend USB feature causes problems with one or both tuners dropping out.
Just noticed my billing for two micro instances I'm running. They're both simple WordPress sites with little bandwidth and traffic (maybe 10-20 visits a day). It's been about a month and my bill is like $16.
My question is what happened to the free tier? If this is a question for AWS, I've already called them but the support rep I talked to explained that the billing is done by TKL through AWS, and that TKL is just billing for what they are being billed.
Can someone please walk me through setting up subdomains? I currently have the Turnkey Wordpress Appliance and a properly permissioned directory I made for the subdomain.
I cannot seem to get a subdomain to work. I've tried adding this to apache2.conf at the bottom, but all I end up with is "This webpage is not available"
