Hello, On the current Mantis TLK appliance, I have it running successfully and all is well.
My desire/need is to use Mantis for a tracking system for managing multiple tickets for projects and request for multiple customers. I need to upgrade to 1.2.8 to allow me to use the report by email plugin to allow customers to send in requests via email, basically the missing link for a tracking system for IT. I've tried upgrading via apt-get upgrade mantis but I believe because Mantis is not in the repository, I have to do a manual upgrade and therefore apt-get upgrade fails.
(Potential) new user to Turnkey, but been using Ubuntu for a while, and couldn't find the answer to this in the FAQ or Doc's.
Is it possible/easy to combine Turnkey apps into a single app/server? I am using VMWare ESXi, and instead of having seperate servers/apps for LAMP, Wordpress, Gallery, etc. is it possible to start with LAMP (or core) and then add Wordpress and gallery etc. to that? I'm sure I can do it via apt, but does that pull in Turnkey packages or standard Ubuntu packages?
help. I have two systems that are virtual lamp appliances running on a VMware ESX server 4.0.0, they have been running for the past 6 months with no issues. Today I shutdown the appliances via the console, and they will not reboot. The last message on the console boot screen is no init found try passing init = bootarg.
I've got a server I created on a local vm (virtual box) - set it up and all looking good. Backed up to the hub then used the back up to restore to an EC2 instance.
On opening webmin - which allowed me to login I could not access any modules and got the message "You do not have access to any Webmin modules."
<<I figured this out finally. The prompt was MediaWiki login which made me think it wanted me to login to MediaWiki. No! This was the normal Linux prompt and as soon as I realized that the login id I wanted to use was "root" I got past this and am now moving on.>>
Not sure what is going on or what I am missing but the ability to ad/create ACL is not working in the turnkey appliance I just started. I am a bit of a newb so not really sure where to look, but according to the screenshot on the dokuwiki website:

Hi, I'm having issues accessing my magento appliance via a web browser. When I try to type in the IP address assigned by my home dhcp server, it just forwards to whatever the domain setup was, shop.example.com
Sorry guys, a newby here. Can anyone tell me what linux O/S does Turnkey wordpress run on? Does anyone know?
Also, when installing turnkey wordpress to vmware player, do i need to prep vmware player first. Do I need to create a virutal driver first in vmware player first?
Also, for the install do I have to click on the vmdk or the vmx file? For some reason, I have two files when I unzipped the turnkey wordpress installation zipfile. Why are there two files, what does each do?
Have successfully been using Turnkey Fileserver Appliance now for over 12 months to fileserve and back up system on daily basis. Bare-metal install of Lucid appliance.
Tklbam settings are default ( full backup monthly , inc in between , and 50 M volsize)
Each night I do a local tklbam-backup to a local machine and to the remote amazon hub.
Recently backup size has got to between 12 -13 G uncompressed data footprint size. and I have noticed some remote backup failures, which I put down to internet dropouts.....
