Trying to Add SATA drive (not RAID) to Turnkey FileServer (but unable to)

Forum:

Hey, so far have the Turnkey Fileserver up & running fine on an old 120 GBs IDE drive.  Now, I want to add a 1 TB drive (SATA) to store the data exclusively, with the option of running other drives at a later date for RAID backup.  I installed a VANTEC 6-port SATA II 150 PCI Host Card w/RAID (model UGT-ST310R) so I can add the 1 TB drive, but I am unable to "see" the drive via webmin (although as a relative Linux newbie I may be missing things).

Roundup appliance - change language

Forum:

Hi, how can I change the language for roundup?

I tired to set LC_all to de_DE.UTF-8 as well as de_DE or de_DE.ISO... but to on avail.

I then tried to set de_DE in the roundup config file - but no change, the UI is still english.

Is there any other issue tracking appliance available in German?

What can I do to use German locale?

Delete hub backup sessions

Forum:

Is it possible to delete a session in a TKL Hub backup? I'd like to delete older sessions in a backup for an applicance without deleting the entire backup for an appliance.

Ideally it'd be helpful to have a setting in the Hub and/or on the TKLBAM section of Webmin to retain backup sessions for x days, weeks, months, etc and be able to remove individual backup sessions.

Thoughts?

Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name

Forum:

On the status.net appliance when apache is restart

/usr/sbin/service apache2 restart

I get the following message:

apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 for ServerName

In researching the message it appears that /etc/hosts needs to have the site domain name to be added to the statusnet line. From:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 statusnet

#Required for IPv6 capable hosts

Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale

Forum:

I'm running the Status.net appliance and I can't seem to figure out why /var/log/apache2/error.log is getting the following added with each page access:

locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_COLLATE to default locale: No such file or directory

Any ideas?

EBS less than 10GB

Forum:
The micro free tier gives you 10GB of EBS. How do I create an instance with just 5GB? I always end up with a 5 and a 10GB EBS attached.

Zimbra in AWS deployment list?

Forum:

Hello all:

I don't see ZIMBRA as a choice in the list of apps that can be deployed to AWS through the hub. Is this an oversight, or is it purposely not being supported?

Thanks in advance!

Do I have to use Route 53 with Amazon clouds?

I have a domain and my registrar provides DNS services where I can set A, CNAME records etc.

File Server disappearing (...) from Windows network

Forum:

I have a server running the TKL File Server atop a Proxmox virtual environment (along with another appliance), and it all went fine for some months -- I was able to use it happily as a backup server for a Win 7 Pro workstation.

Now the W7P machine can't see the server anymore, while everything else looks fine: the server is up and running, accessible by HTTP, etc.: just the Samba services are unreachable.
