I have just discovered tklbam and I am well impressed.

For one of my servers I need to exclude a number of files so I have added them to the overrides file. However if there is a space in the path or file name then tklbam falls over.

For example the line:

-/home/me/www/file withspace.htm

 in etc/tklbam/overrides gives

File "/usr/lib/tklbam/backup.py", line 53, in fromfile
raise Error(`limit` + " is not a legal limit")
backup.Error: 'withspace.htm' is not a legal limit

I am having problems trying to smbmount -t cifts samba share in to my other ubuntu machine from Turnkey server so that rsync will see this folder

The HDD share mount when I connect via server on the desktop but rsync does not see the mount this was all working ok before in install Turnkey server

Now by typing this in to the termail box the mount does not even giving the right share name and path

sudo mount -t cifs //192.168.1.103/shh 1/ /media/line_up -o username=******.password=*************,iocharset=utf8,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777

First of all thank you so so much for creating Turnkey Linux, I have used it a lot.

I have installed and have been using for a while Mindtouch from turnkey Linux with version 10.0.2 of Mindtouch.

How do I upgrade to the latest version of Mindtouch which is 10.1.0?

Command line doesn't bother me just fyi.

I am just getting my first turnkey linux setup (LAMP Stack) and am having difficulty installing vmware tools.  I went through all the steps in the documentation and had to do the command line installation.  The only thing I did differently was that I had to create a directory on /mnt before I could run the mount command.

Been giving tklbam another try this summer.  Works great btw.  I am having one problem though....

I am getting a lot of errors relating to the size of some of my user id's.  I also use likewise open for ldap authentication, and the uid's are 32bit. 

uid 2038506551 of file snapshot/home/local/FSD/f353327 not in range. Setting uid
to 60001

I'm assuming (and will test this asap), that this will interfere with restoring from backup.  I did stumble on the following post at launchpad:

Running the Zimbra appliance and accessing the admin client at https://192.168.13.40:7071

The client hangs in the browser and just says loading.  It originally worked and has stopped 2 days after installing the appliance.

I have searched the net and cannot find any solution that works.

All i have it the loading screen saying "loading"  Any help would be great.

Server is working OK,  email in and out fine,  ZM CLI seems to work fine also.

Have downloaded the latest version of the Zimbra Appliance and put it live, the documentation says that it is built on the latest Turnkeycore which contains Ubuntu 10.0.4 LTS ,  however it seems to be built on Ubuntu 8.   The version I have downloaded is 2009.10-2.  Is there a newer version or is the link on the appliance information page linking to the wrong descroption of core? http://www.turnkeylinux.org/core

Any help or advice greatly recevied?
