So everytime I boot it 1st goes to "30 seconds" turnkey screen which I have to hit F6 > enter to get out of. Then it goes to debian installer live which I have to cancel out of. Then it goes to a new screen where I have to hit "finialize" and then it finally reboots and starts going right to configconsole.

what is the user name? the name of the VM? I remember creating passwords only.

is using Amazon with your solution an alternative to a second "development server?"

i am tring to decide my best 360 degree workflow and was told by beanstlak support:

Recently (last couple of weeks) downloaded the Gallery Appliance as a VM machine. Worked well and have uploaded many photographs. On the point of going live when the site can suddenly no longer be accessed. "Error" is the only message displayed when trying to access main.php in a web browser.

Haven't made any changes to cause this. Linux VM machine boots ok, no apparent error messages. Possible that mysql is not loading as cannot stop-start this server.

Short version: I can't get the TK GAE app to work properly with utf-8 and frankly am at the end of my wits.

I've got an automatic PCI scan hitting my server and it is failing because there are vulnerabilities in Apache Web Server 2.2.18 and below, so it requires an upgrade to 2.2.19.

I've tried upgrading via...

    apt-get update
    apt-get install apache2

But apache stays at v2.2.16.  How do I force an update to 2.2.19?  Actually, same goes for OpenSSH.  I need 5.8 or higher.

I have been trying to get a Magento Restore and have gotten this error going back at least 7 sessions.
How do I get in and "remove or flag" the 'max allowed packet'?  The Database Restore Fails on this event.
