Questions:
* Is the 10% on top of EC2 cost applied only if I launch the TKL Appliance via the Hub? Or does it also apply if I launch it directly from EC2 Management Console?
First of all thanks a lot for this awesome platform, I've just started to play with turnkeylinux since 1-2 weeks ago and like it very much. Great time saving!
Here is my question. Currently I have a drupal 6 appliance (11.1) running in ESXi host, I can not run 'sudo' command. I get this error: "bash: sudo: command not found". Please advice how to enable/install sudo/sudoers.
A forum post seems be unavailable, since a revision this afternoon, except by Sabre from her karma insert link. I wonder if it's something systematic? When we look from her account, we can't see anything explicit that would make it unavailable: http://www.turnkeylinux.org/forum/general/20110116/tklpatch-omeka . Any insight? Hopefully it's something silly we did and no other posts are affected.
I'm looking for help with an issue when trying to use a Turnkey Wordpress ISO. I've downloaded the ISO and fired up Virtualbox, created a new virtual machine with defaults. Powered on the virtual machine then selected the ISO for Installation Media, that when things get weird.
I get an error pop-up with the following:
Failed to open the CD/DVD image (then indicated the file path for the ISO)
Could not get Storage format of the medium (again indicated the file path of the ISO)
It was my understanding that instances deployed through the new Turnkey Hub in Amazon EC2 would the EBS volume selected in the initial form as root device.
However, when checking in Amazon´s management console, I see that the new instance uses instance-store as root device and the EBS seems just to be attached to the instance.
Am I missing something? If not, is there a plan to use the EBS volume as root device in the future?
Thanks and congratulations for the great job you have done with the Hub.
I was able to get the appliance into VMWare. Using web interface I was able to give the VM an IP. I can go to the web shell (Port 12320) and also phpmyadmin without issue. When I go to the IP of the joomla site (with no ports after) I get "Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL"
