So, to start off, I'll say that I'm not too familiar with Linux, and not at all familiar with Turnkey. The reason I'm here is because I use MineOS, and the creator of it is abandoning CRUX in favor of Turnkey.

It's been past 2 hours when trying to launch a new server, but it is stuck on "Installing security updates..." (see attached file)

It seems like other people are having the same issue for the past few days.

After another 2 hours, I will need to delete this server so I'm not charged for a Turkey appliance server that isn't working.

Is this possible to do from within the appliance without upgrading the appliance itself? PrestaShop has a "1-Click" AutoUpgrade module and I haven't even done any customization to the site yet that might interfere, so it seems like a no-brainer.

The problem is that the upstream source for the appliance, even though it's dated June, is not the latest version of PrestaShop, which is dated April.

My problem is that I get all the way through the setup process and then when I choose to quit the configuration console and I'm presented with the "prestashop login" request, the console won't recognize the @ (at) symbol of the email address.

I have successfully installed turnkey nginx + fastcgi on my vps. Works fine, can login to webmin etc.

however in my webmin I can't find any way to add domain, configure mail

for now I just put my files into /var/www, so what if I want to add another domain, how am I going to do this, is there any tutorial?

I noticed, with delight, that Turnkey AMIs can be launch in Sydney now from the Turnkey Hub.  However, if I go directly to Launch and AMI Market Place, I find Turnkey Appliances (was searching for nas).. But Sydney does not appear in the list of launch locations.

Sometimes I want to launch directly in AWS without Hub.  So, would appreciate if this was sorted out.

I've seen a couple of posts on this issue, but nothing I tried that was mentioned in the posts resolved the issue.

I've attached a screen shot and my console output is below:

I've had previous turnkey instances where I had no problem accessing phpmyadmin, but w/ the recent installation, it just times out on that port... any help would be much appreciated!

Downloaded the current jeOS.iso and copied it to an unmounted USB stick as root using:

cp /<mount point>/<directory>/turnkey-bootstrap-12.1-squeeze-amd64.iso

sync

Then tried to install from the stick to a laptop and got the blinking zombie cursor.

Checked the stick with a disk utility and yes, it's flagged bootable.

what'd I do wrong?

I get this error after installing.

Its a fresh install.

And i also tryed not updating and updating after ready and with and without https ,but nothing worked.

Can someone give me temp. Fix?
