Hi, I'm interested in using confconsole and am glad to see the source code on Github, however I can't determine from that repository what the licensing terms for the source code is... The files say "(c) all rights reserved", but otherwise don't mention any other terms.
I thought it might be useful to document how I secure the redmine appliance. I find this useful for private setups.
It was a little messier than I thought becase for some reason in the 11.3 version the apache port 80 and 443 configs point to the same file. Sometimes I want secure only access, sometimes both. It would be nice to have these separated, as that makes it easier to redirect the secure traffic.
1. copy /etc/apache2/conf/railsapp.conf to /etc/apache2/conf/railsapp_80.conf
I'm unsure if this is possible or even a good idea from the developers POV, but I wanted to ask:
Is there a mechanism, or has it already been discussed, to have the ability to depoly the diff TKL appliances from the TKL library into a single large TKL appliance?
I installed Virtual box into a windows xp notebook specifying ubuntu as os for the vm. Installed the turnkey lampstack successfully into vm. Updated with updates. Then when launching lamp stack for the first time, it asks for my user name and password for "lamp:". I put in "howard" which is the name for the Virtual box account. During installation process of lamp, I was asked to furnish a user id. I put in the root password for lampstack. It gave me an error. What is the user id? Which password do I use?
There is "a lot" of info in the forums but I expect it is hard to find unless you are looking for it. Why not have a series of "sub forums" that are oriented towards each different ap, and perhaps also have some "overall" forums for univerasal subjects, like how to use WebShell and Webmin.
I woiuld like to see a little more ap specific sets of threads... folks often absorb by reading more on certain subjects.
My thoughts anyway in the form of a recomendation.
I am looking for a tkl iso for hardware deployment of Moodle version 1.9, is this available somewhere here for download...if not can I build my own using the lamp stack and install the moodle seperate..
