As the TKL appliances are very popular for home and small offices I think it would be very nice to have some more support on the power management.

Lots of people use f.i. the fileserver at home and don't want it on 24/7

a WOL can bring it out of suspend mode and of you go, the server can go back into sleep after a configurated time.

I've been searching for many hours on several linux distributions and forums, but it's getting to spread out.

It would be appreciated if we could have a TKL howto for this, or even better a webmin module.

I have 2 domains, one that points directly to my new server running Turnkey Wordpress and works great and one that handles the company email and is supposed to point to the new server but is acting very strange.

The first domain that is working properly is www.sundaymissalservice.com , the second domain www.sundaymissal.com (previously only domain, but through the transfer of hosting was last to forward to the new server.

I am unable to login as root in turnkey linux.If I give wrong credentials it says incorrect login. i have anohter user I can login as the other user and unable to su root.

Please suggest me to get problem resolved.

I installed the Turnkey Redmine Streamable VMDK image with OVF, to my ESXi host, updated it and everything works just as i expected, however i would like to use this post to ask for support in changing: Postfix MTA (bound to localhost) to allow sending of email (e.g., password recovery) to using SMTP with a Google business email account i have so that mails send by this machine don't end up in the SPAM folder.

I have installed the LAMP stack from Amazon Web Services. So far, I have it up and running (but just running). I am new to Linux, so please be patient. I have been given responsibility for creating and managing the information technology of a medium sized non profit group.

I am trying to get the ProFTP server installed and configured. I used the webmin interface to install it, and it is setup and running. The status shows as such.

I created a new user, cmartin, through users and groups and made sure to chmod and change the home directory to /var/www/.

I have domain registered at Godaddy and I want to set up Zimbra Collaboration Server for that domain.
VPS server with CentOS 6.5, 64bit and a public IP address are prepered (not with Godaddy).

Is it necessary to have DNS server such as Bind if I am going to host only one website and email for one domain?
What are pros and cons of having Bind in this case?

Hi,

I installed the OrangeHRM instance, I played with that, I installed some extra modules and everything worked great!!!

But I stopped the instance to avoid extra charges, and now, when I restarted the instance, and tried to login in orange I get this error: HTTP Status 404 - /symfony/web/index.php/auth/login

and when I try to go to the homepage, I geta blank page that says "Hello World"

I installed TKLDEV with Proxmox and tried to install Minecraft server. I searched a lot in documentation but it failed...

So, I tried to install Core on /turnkey/fab/product as described on documentation :

cd /turnkey/fab/product/

Thanks for this helpful site - TKL rocks!  Any plans to do a TKL Oxwall virtual appliance?  IMO, OW seems more visually appealing/modern, and to have more deployable options/plugins OOTB than Elgg.

I'm going to migrate my OW deployment to a VPS provider that offers TKL LAMP template, so I'm testing OW with TKL LAMP on a vm on VirtualBox first.  Ran into a couple of issues right away - had to install GD2 and enable rewrite module in order to proceed w/ the setup.

The issue I'm running into now is OW does not display the familiar UI and images, ie. it is text only.
