We enabled hourly backups by doing:

mv /etc/cron.daily/tklbam-backup /etc/cron.hourly

chmod +x /etc/cron.hourly/tklbam-backup

echo full-backup 7D >> /etc/tklbam/conf

We also enabled incremental backups in the webmin and then disabled thinking that would conflict with the above. Now we're seeing dupliate backups in some cases. Some only seconds apart but inconsistent. Please see attached screenhot.

I created a lamp stack, and attached an EBS Volume to it. I cannot figure out how to connect to this with file zilla to upload any files.

Please can someone help me. I've been at it for a while.

Also the lamp stack shows as "Installing security updates..." for 17 hours so far

I have a need for a Tomcat appliance; first thing I tried was TurnKey. Unfortunately, turnkey-apache-tomcat is way outdated, running tomcat6.

Trying to upgrade it to at least tomcat7 results in:

Having recently migrated a site from a Windows platform to a Linux platform I found it necessary to throw some notes together to use the next time the need to do such a thing arises. Since it's existing, might as well share it with others. Linux Mint 17 distro was used along with Drupal 7 and, please bear in mind, that it's basically the work of a newb meant for newbs:

I'm having an issue with my PHP form not sending an email when the form is submitted on a brand new site on a brand new linode. My programming/coding skills are very limited so sorry for my ignorance.

I had someone on odesk create a website for me with a PHP form on it.

Before he sent me the files we tested the form while he was hosting the page and it worked great.

Now I tried to put it onto my Linode but the php form no longer works. to build the linode I just followed the tutorial on the linode website..

We are having one issue , one of the member is not able to login in our application.

For this issue, we checked database,  Data is present in data base correctly.
We checked in LDAP with  LDAPSEARCH command: Result No such Object

So we tried to add the record in LDAP with account upload program, which gave error as “Object already exists”.

Then We tried manually insertung the particuar record:

Didn't see this anywhere so just going to ask.  We have installed a core and added things like ftp, nfs, etc. and when we do a restore, they don't seem to get restored.  Is there a procedure to make this happen?

so far i had the Ireland region, but now since Frankfurt is available and i am located in Frankfurt, it makes sense to have my backups sent to Frankfurt.

How can i change the region where the backups are created?
