hi friends, turnkey fileserver has served me enough to use it as online storage, now my idea is to have one single user with one single folder (ideally use 1 user per Hard drive [1 tera approximately]). but me and realized that the move to the section of "home" to "storage" this directory storage is common for users "(when users think user groups)". Now, How I can disable the "storage" and just leave "home" folder?
Ok so....kinda a linux n00b here, but how do I upgrade to 12.1? I poked around on the site to see if there was a walkthrough or forum topic, but no dice.
Any best practice tips? I'm running the LAMP stack.
I have a dedicated box in a datacenter and a local VirtualBox for testing.
I have about 6-7 VMs build from TK Core and TK Redmine instances.
I added the API for TKLBAM to each VM, backup up and then restored to a new cloud instance. However, now that I have spun up my cloud versions, the VMs no longer run thir applications.
Attached is an error I get once I restore my Redmine instance. And I have had broken EMR servers built off core. The firewall settings are all 100% open, so that's not the issue. It just seems like the backup or migration parts of TKBLAM might not be doing what one would expect.
Hi, I've been looking for the longest time to find the i386 downloads of both the Wordpress appliance and the Concrete5 appliance. Any help on where to get those would be very helpful. Thanks!
Hi All I just tried the demo site and while the following url works and shows me the state etc. I cannot login to the web console of the instance nor can I SSH/TELNET to the IP or URL.
I'm planning to upgrade some 12.0 servers (32-bit), which for historical reasons are built on the Turnkey Rails despite now using only Django (have disabled the Rails but it's still there) - would like to build new servers using 12.1 64-bit, using Turnkey Linux Core, and if possible restore using TKLBAM from old server to new.
I will install Django from source as part of the app, so I only need Core.
Is this possible? If so, are there any tips and tricks to making it go smoothly?
Does anyone have any experience or instructions on how to do a distribution upgrade of any of the 12.1 turnkey images (from squeeze to Wheezy). I could not even find the /etc/apt/sources.list file in this path. Are the repos paths in a different file or location? Is it not a good idea to even try this for some reason? Is it better to wait for the 13.0 versions built on Wheezy and port my production files at that point instead of doing a distribution upgrade?
I read a lot about people having trouble with hostname and the possible solution. I have the same issue in the following context but none of the proposed solution either worked.
We have turnkey solution in our vSphere cloud. Our cloud is a subset of our hosted corporated infrastructure meaning we have no control over what the company firewall could do.
Each imported turnkey cannot be referenced from another machine by its hostname (short of fully qualified named).
The CPU graph shows about 30-40% activity, the Disk IO shows ~400MB and 70kB of net activity.
The Disk IO graphs seems flat on top, as they hit a limit and stays that way for almost an hour. Sometimes this extends to 1.5 hour, or even 2 hours, followed by a low for a short time of about ~0-5MB.
