I have installed LAPP turnkey linux as VirtualBox appliance. I want to remove graphical boot menu (where large TURNKEY logo appears) and make boot process as fast as it could be.

I'm trying to figure out how to get a Turnkey/Joomla appliance - with one default Joomla site - to handle multiple sites, with separate structure and database.

Is it just a matter of creating additional databases and make multiple copies of an out-of-the-box Joomla site. After that making the Apache2 setup files and the hit the road ?

Or is there a more correct and simple way of doing this, with respect of the toptuned Turnkey/Joomla configuration ??

Does anyone know if pulling a git repo over HTTP is supposed to be working in the current revision control appliance? Regular pull as well as viewing via web work like a charm but I can not pull the repo via HTTP, which people say is supported in gitweb.

Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Now I have a problem though and I was hoping someone could help me out. Let me start with describing the current situation.

I have a Drupal running on my PC. So from a browser on my PC I can access it with eg http://192.168.0.182 and that works great.

Lost power on the machine running my Redmine installation. It' a local machine in my house so no UPS at the moment.

However, I was able to log into the redmine project menu and noticed I could no access any files in my SVN reposity. No structure at all. I logged out, rebooted and now I can no longer log into my redmine project, but my main console states "redmine login:" and I can't login to my system through any means. Am I hosed due to once crash? Or is there an easy way to recover?

Hi. I am new to this forum. I downloaded the Zimbra Collaboration Suite and installed it using VMware player. The default Zimbra login is admin@example.com. However, I cannot get the @ symbol to appear when I type. However, I can login as root and get the @ symbol to appear.

I am a UK user and I used the following command to set up the keyboard up as UK:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup

How do I add librarys to PHP?  The app I am running is giving the error

Error!: You can't run this script because your PHP doesn't have GD library (1.* or 2.*) loaded.

Im am trying to load clipbucket onto LAMP.  The clipbucket instrcutions say to put folder (clipbucket) onto the server and then browse to it.

I get the files onto the server at /var/www/clipbucket - but when I browse I get a 500 internal server error.  I am sure this is something to do with permission config, since when I try to browse to a dir that I know is not present I get a 'not found' error.
