I have installed Turnkey Linux on a dedicated server machine. The installation is standard based on Debian Wheezy (i.e. the latest version). My main purpose is to use the machine as a development server for Joomla. However, I have a very strange problem with most Joomla installations. Although the sample version 3 installation from the Joomla site works ok, a number of other installations don't.
I think this should be a simple answer. I'd like to run a turnkey system via xWindows on a MS-Windows x-server. Also, if possible I'd like to run the Gnome desktop on a virtualbox runtime (as well) using the full screeen.
Can someone point me to a tutorial, blog or set-up instructions to 'show me how'?
I use Redmine appliance and I want to use it in special offline mode (super secure private network with no-access to internet). I have problem with tklbam-backup. I tried tklbam-backup --dump=/tmp/myback , but this crashed because of this network error:
Vtiger CRM 6 was released and so would like to migrate. The obvious way to do it is to restore my tklbam backups from amazon into a new server using turnkey hub. Then to follow the migration path on the vtiger website https://www.vtiger.com/open-source-downloads/
I need to move my live server from a TK EC2 instance to a local live VirtualBox setup. I don't really want to do this, but Internet connection issues and file sizes make it nesseacry. I am working on an Interactive gallery project, so all machines will be local.
Does anyone know how I can migrate my EC2 TK server to local? Need to do it quick cos we are supposed to open on Wednesday at Laguna Beach, CA.
I'm an Englishman abroad and only have 2 weeks to sort this. Any helpers get a beer if they are in the area :-)
First, I wish to say how terrific the Turnkey Linux is.
I am running a number of LAMP stacks dating back several years. These have been operating flawlessly. I am considering updating some of the older VM's. I can determine Linux Versions, Webmin versions, etc. But wondered if there was a way to determine the actual version of the Turnkey VM?
I am new to TURNKEY to start. The idea sounds great but thus far I am having problems. I have used the Bugzilla solution found here (http://www.turnkeylinux.org/bugzilla) and have had great results up to the point when I wanted to add/install LDAP support.
I have putty'd into the box and ran checksetup.pl and it tells me to run the following command to add LDAP support.
/usr/bin/perl install-module.pl Net::LDAP
Running that gives me the following errors messages
