I am always struggling wth these Apache settings, I downloaded the PHPCake iso's and they work nicely out of the box.
My issue is I have 2 VM's one Dev and one QA :
Dev serves port 80 and 443 via a port forwarding from my cable modem/router
QA I am trying to setup to respond ot 8184 and 8143 but I am unable to conenct to them
either directly 192.168.0.123:8184 or via my public ip address over the web.
How do I configure the QA VM using webmin to have it serve those ports?
A couple of days ago I setup a new debian lamp stack with turnkey on an EC2 instance using the default turnkey security group that only allows a few ports. I was examining the logs just now and noticed multiple SSH root login attempts on what looks like random ports.
I installed a new VM (Parallels Desktop) from ISO on my MAC server and after a while the web site is no longer served, is there anything specific that might be happening?
Typically I have to reboot my Mac in order for the VM to start serving the pages again.
Is this a known behavior or is there something with the CAKEPHP application that might cause that behavior?
Also what is the minimum requirements for the Turnkey CakePHP VM?
Apologies for what probably seems like a really lazy question, but after trying all the tips found from googling phrases like
'where is the php log file debian'
'enable php log turnkey linux'
and so on etc ad nauseum.
I am not really sure what i have tried or not, but i do know that i dont see any php logging anywhere.
So, please can anyone help? :) How do I enable verbose logging for PHP5 in Apache2 on TKL LAMP? I need it so that i can debug some strange behaviour in wordpress.
I am getting the following error when putting in the key for tklmab init.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/tklbam-init", line 209, in main() File "/usr/bin/tklbam-init", line 179, in main if not is_valid_apikey(apikey): File "/usr/bin/tklbam-init", line 91, in is_valid_apikey struct.unpack("!L8s", base64.b32decode(padded + "=" * 4)) struct.error: unpack requires a string argument of length 12
Any ideas?? I have generated a new key and tried that too with the same error. I have done all of the updates to the system as well.
We are using the latest Turnkey Wordpress and our issue is we are only able to have one active gateway value in a two NIC configuration in our VM environment. Through the configuration console, we’re able to place a gateway IP for each NIC, but only the last one we enter is the active one. In other words, the web content can only be accessible through one NIC. We would like the content to be available from both NICs, and we’d like the management of the host and related services from the internal NIC.
I am running the Wordpress server and two nights ago my sites went down. Wordpress is giving me a Error Establishing a Database Connection error. The webmin site (port 1231) has no site and I can't login in to phpmyadmin.
If I reboot the server my site will stay up for about 5 minutes and then the errors will return. I have checked the database tables and they're good.
I am not sure where to look next. Does anyone have any idea where to look?
based upon my first post (Weblink) I've managed to install the TurnKey LAMP Web Stack App upon our server, given a static IP address 193.175.277.120 and installed Moodle and MediaWiki from the official repositories manually.
I am running Orange HRM in VirtualBox. In the past I have no problem with tklbam, backup is o.k. But now when I want to use tklbam backup, it does not work and I get the following message:
