I think that it is perfectly possible that one can install a minimal system with debootstrap, install tklpatch on it, and then apply a patch that builds TKLCore. Is there such a patch? Where can I find it?
Also I am not able to find the patches for the other appliancies, like MySQL, LAMP, etc. Why would I need them? Just to study them and copy/paste some parts to my patch. Hey, this is open source after all, isn't it? The ISO-s are not sufficient.
I have modified Turnkey Core to have android SDK for anyone who wants to start programming in android immediately. Also since the android drivers in windows don't work at all on most phones this is a quick way to view the logcat in the adb shell.
I have installed a server with B-Translator at https://l10n.org.al, and it took me a long time to configure it properly with NGINX + MySQL + php5-fpm + apc + memcached + Drupal7, so I have tried to create a tklpatch in order to speed up the process of building another server similar to this. It is based on the NGINX appliance from: http://www.turnkeylinux.org/nginx-php-fastcgi
Is there a way to update the PHP version on the LAMP appliance to 5.3.21? I searched and found alot of old references to possibly needing to link in some Ubuntu repositories. Just wondering if that is still the case.
(I know all the caveats of possible breaking things if I do this, just curious.)
