I am having a bizzar (and new) issue with my wiki server. It runs fine for a period of time (less than 24 hours) and then begins loosing its connection to the MySQL system. The virtual macahine remains responsive during this time - i.e. I can log into the command line using the :12321 port, and a reboot temporarily fixes the issue but it always returns.
I'm trying to build spandsp from the conf script when running "tklpatch-apply / turnkey-patch".
Source code for spandsp is included in the turnkey-patch directory.
From the conf script I do the following:
Everytime i want to restore my redmine database with my old servers data i get:
ERROR 2013 (HY000) Lost connection to MySQL server during query
this error comes only when i try to restore...
strange is that im following the same install routine i did with a live version of this lovely appliance and at the live appliance mysql didn´t crash...
so what is the diference between live and installed appliance?
I´m new to this and would b very happy if somebody could help-_^
My old site was using zen-cart 1.5.4. I had upgraded it several times on my old host to get it there. When I tried to upgrade on TurnKeyLinux, so I can import my old database, I cannot get the upgrade to work. I copied the new files in place (I tried with 1.5.3 and 1.5.4). I've check the read write permissions on the folders and files, but I am still getting access permissions when trying to access zc_install, and when I remove it I get access permission errors when trying to log in. I am not used to using debian, so maybe there is just something different/additional I need to do.
I have a Turnkey Samba domain Controller that I have been using as a file server for a few years. I am setting up a new one now and started with the latest Turnkey 14.0 before I noticed that it was Samba 4, not 3, and that the Domain controller info page does not reccomend using this as a file server. Having some issues getting it to work on my network. Would I be better off just rolling back to the older version, rather than trying to get this to do something that is not reccomended?
I've downloaded and deploy redmine 14 ova to a VMWare ESXi v4.1.0 server.
After that, on first run of virtual machine, I got a "Kernel Panic" error, and the VM breaks at startup. I tried to initialize in recovery mode, but don't work too. I attached the screenshot and vmware.log.
How can I perform security updates to the system and patches to the turnkey linux appliance? Including updates for mySQL and other recommended updates that exist with your turnkey appliances?
Please provide all of the relevant commands I would use to run and install the latest updates. I do not see any clear documentation on your website for non-linux folks.
