I have an intent to patch an AfterTheDeadline server solution, either independently or with my students, depending on what they determine is next for them.
JedMeister, I read from another post of yours that you use PVE. I never even heard of it before but I was intrigued, so.....
I was reading about this today. This looks very nice. Can it be installed as a VM (for testing and learning purposes), or does it only work on real hardware?
Beautiful Turnkey Drupal running. But how about patching in Drupal Commons or Open Atrium packages. Change some permissions and install. Starts first part then stops when finding created database on MySql(drupal6-password?-user drupal6). Is this feasible or is it my database problem? Sounds a brilliant match.
I have been trying to upgrade by hand to the latest MySQL release of 5.1.56 of the MySQL appliance but crash and burn each time. I have the 11.1 appliance that is running 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.8.
I really need to get up to 5.1.43 so that I can do partitioning on a timestamp column.
While updating my installation of Virtualbox this weekend I stumbled on a post in their forums mentioning Turnkey and its appliances.
So I had a look and decided to try out the Wordpress appliance and I must say, I'm very impressed by how easy it is to have a running web server with Wordpress setup and ready. My prevous attempt, starting from a Ubuntu iso and installing everything manually, had me spend a whole weekend to have everything right. And that's without setting up the extra packages and custumisation you've included in the appliances!
I'm trying to set up repository in the new task by entering into field URL path to repository (https://x.x.x.x/svn/repname), but I get this error message: "The entry or revision was not found in the repository." on the Repository tab. Could you help me?
I'm using Turnkey Linux Joomla v1.6 on my home computer successfully. It serves-up a very low-volume web site that I host for myself with my own URL.
Now I'd like to add webmail capabilities using mail.<myURL>.com . I only have one IP Address, so I can't add a second Turnkey Linux Email Server. Instead, I'd like to add it to the one I'm currently using.
Generally speaking, how do I add Email Server capabilities to an existing Turnkey Linux Joomla server?
